While christmas-preparations are taking place in SBT and everyone is looking for the new years-eve-party, a second group of beginners started their internet-class. So far we get familiar with MS Word, write our own resumes, talk about internet itself, open email-accounts and check-out all options different e-mail providers and social-networks offer us. Everyone is pretty exited to get to know something new every day.

Lets see how far we can go within the short time we have. Since Steffi shifted her hindi-classes from the evening to the morning time, we might be able to open our own blogs in the end like the first group of beginners, who finished their nine-day rush through the basics in november.

We are happy to inform you, that we started to record small profile-videos for you. This makes it easier for us to express ourself, as far as our knowledge in English and our ability to post written messages is still a little bit week. Enjoy!

Everyone is working on internet-related issues right now. We are opening for example flickr-accounts, so that everyone can upload their personal pictures and their working examples from multimedia-class. This is a way of getting to know ways of using the internet for own purposes.

This years media-workshop started last week after Eid on monday. Eid is the Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.

We are working on two subjects:
Photography and Internet with BLOG-writing.

In the beginninging we will start with the basics like internet itself and ways of using it in a safe and appropriate manner.
